After a break and a light lunch, we will start our City Tour in Cusco. We will visit 5 impressive places; 2 of them in the cusco city,  the main plaza de Armas of the city and Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun)  and the other 4, surrounding the city of Cusco; these are the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Quenco, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. When you observe these wonders you are breathless!

At the end of this long day,  we will transfer you to your hotel to rest peacefully.

DAY 2. Sacred Valley of the Incas (full day)

After being picked up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 AM, you’ll travel in our comfortable vans to our first destination to the Mirador Taray. Here, you will enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. This viewpoint overlooks the winding Urubamba River, terraced hillsides, and the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. It’s the perfect spot for taking photos and soaking in the natural beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Continue the day with a 40-minute drive to Pisac. There, you’ll explore the Pisac archaeological site perched on a hilltop with spectacular views of the valley. This site features impressive Inca buildings, the largest Inca cemetery, farming terraces, living quarters, and religious areas. After exploring the site, you will head to the town of Pisac, famous for its colorful Pisac market. It’s a great place to shop for souvenirs such as textiles, ceramics, and jewelry. You can also find fresh produce and sample some local street food. Then, you’ll drive for about an hour to Urubamba, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits you. The lunch features fresh, regional products, giving you a taste of the local cuisine.

After lunch, the tour heads to Ollantaytambo

After that you will drive up to Moray, a fascinating archaeological site known for its large circular terraces. The Incas likely used these terraces for agricultural experiments, testing different climates on crops. Next, you’ll visit the Salineras of Maras, where over 3,000 salt pans stretch across the mountainside. These pans, which are still actively used today, have been maintained and operated by local families for generations.

Our final destination is Ollantaytambo where we’ll explore the remarkable Ollantaytambo fortress. Constructed in the 15th century, this site functioned as a military, religious, and agricultural center for the Incas. It boasts massive stone terraces and detailed stonework, providing stunning views of the surrounding valley. Ollantaytambo is also a picturesque town featuring narrow, cobblestone streets, traditional architecture, and beautiful gardens. Take your time wandering through the local shops and cafes, and immerse yourself in the town’s rich history and culture.

Finally, we’ll take the train  around 7:00 PM. to Machupicchu
